Mental Health America of Greenville County (MHAGC) is a local chapter of a nationwide organization dedicated to mental health advocacy. Affiliated with Mental Health America in South Carolina and the national organization, MHAGC has been serving the community since its founding in 1955.

Their services range from suicide prevention and intervention to providing support for survivors of suicide loss. The organization operates 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline call center in Greenville and hosts a Survivors of Suicide Loss Support group for families and individuals.

Additionally, MHAGC offers rep payee services and provides supportive housing for South Carolina Department of Mental Health clients. With over 55 years of service, MHAGC remains committed to mental health education, advocacy, and support in Greenville County.
